“E’stato piuttosto eccitante la’ fuori, una gara ricca di eventi in cui un sacco di cose sono successe, ma questo è normale per Spa. All’inizio sono andato largo per evitare Heikki e purtroppo sono stato superato da un paio di vetture. Dopo di che ho faticato un po’ nelle prime fasi con le mie gomme posteriori, fortunatamente poi sono riuscito a spingere ed è stato un buono stint quando è arrivata la pioggia. Ho avuto un buon margine sul mio rivale piu’ vicino ma poi è arrivata la safety car. Alla ripartenza ho seguito le altre vetture ma ovviamente la visibilità era molto scarsa ed ho fatto un errore in una curva ad alta velocità, ho toccato la linea bianca con la parte posteriore e sono scivolato perdendo delle posizioni. Ho continuato, ma la gara è finita cosi. Sono contento che siamo arrivati con entrambe le macchine ed è bello vedere che ho ancora un vantaggio rispetto ai nostri piu’ vicini rivali. Ora c’è Monza!”
“It was pretty exciting out there, an eventful race where lots of things happened, but that’s normal for Spa! At the start I went wide to avoid Heikki and unfortunately was overtaken by a couple of other cars. At the restart I was following the other cars but obviously the visibility was very poor and I made a bit of an error on a high-speed corner, touched the white line with the rear end of the car and it just slipped away from me, which meant I lost places.”
